AUDITIONS TOMORROW!

Ugh. I hate that I didn't go the first day. As a general rule, you ALWAYS go the first day. Directors inevitably cast in their head on the first and day stick actors in whenever they can (i.e- background and space filling. hurray!?) on day two. It always happens. WHY!? I'm finally a junior, in a seniority postition for theatre, which i've been waiting for since 5th grade, and I miss audition day 1. way to go, Ann.
And not only that, I HATE AUDITIONS. no, not hate. DESPISE LOATHE ABHOR DEPLORE
I adore acting, but abhor auditions- I hate that awkward tension when you're competiing for roles and your potentional castmates eye your every move as you read while you frantically try to interpret the director's pokerface and hope you read well enough or projected and your voice didn't quiver.
ughhhhhhhhhh. I especially love that there are only 2 female leads. and that I will probably not be cast in the spring play. SO junior year theatre may be extremely lackluster. boooo.
