SO voila! My first post of 2008, hahaha. It sortof died before Bye Bye Birdie started up, which is a shame, that play had SO many notable memories/inside jokes/general tomfoolery. Oh well....
So huzzah. I suppose I should actually blog about theatre-related things...soo...
MACBETH. The proverbial Scottish play....
If that superstition holds true, we'll all be dead by october. Mr. Greer obviously doesn't believe in it. Oh Mr. Greer....during read-through he seemed nice, really into Shakespeare, but you can tell her has some OCD prima donna atitude brwing beneath the calm. We'll see how that goes during tech week. As for my role, its pretty fun, rather low maintenance, and one can never underestimate how peculiar the weird sisters really are. Mr. Greer's vision, anyway. I'd go on about details, but as Mr. Greer ranted on today, we can't give away the MAGIC. So Jenny, you'll just have to wait until the end of October (ooooooooh suspense)
mmmkay...Our Town. I'm rather enthused about acting in the round, that'll be interesting/touching/exhilarating. I really want to be Emily, but I don't know if I could possibily cast as her. I really don't know. A week from now I'll probably be panicking/obsessing over it. So until then....
And....governor's school! Another must....I can't even imagine 5 straight weeks of eating, sleeping (more or less...) and acting. THat'd be amazing...an if I don't go to GSA, then hopefully GSH or GSIS. Although theatre would be wayyyy more rewarding, my parents aren't into the idea of paying for theatre programs. grrrrr...
so yeah. My attention span is thoroughly depleted. So until next time...byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee jenny!
